A 16-year-old girl, Alero Eyesan, who was stabbed on her thigh by a man said to be wooing her has reportedly died.
She died in the early hours of Wednesday morning, Jan 10.
The teenage girl was stabbed in Delta state on the 31st of December,
2017 after rejecting advances from a man popularly known as ‘Osama’.
According to reports online, after the teenager
reportedly refused his advances, Osama laid ambush on her on the night
of December 31 and stabbed her on the thigh.
She was immediately rushed to central
hospital and was responding to treatment until she passed on in the
early hours of this morning.
The suspect is currently on the run.
